Hank Williams, Sr.

1923 - 1953

Country music legend

Hiram Williams, better known as Hank Williams, wrote his first song at the age of 13. Known for songs such as “Honky Tonk Blues,” “Cold, Cold Heart,” and “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,” Williams is a musical legend.

In 1961, Williams became one of the first three inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame. His short-live life ended on his way to perform on New Year’s Day in Canton, OH, five days prior to his daughter’s birth. Her mother, Bobbie Jett, placed his baby girl for adoption at birth.
