Dan Wilson

1969 -

Athlete

Daniel Allen Wilson was a member of the Barrington (Ill.) Little League team that finished third in the Little League World Series; lost to the 1981 Tampa team that featured Gary Sheffield Wilson was the winning pitcher in the third-place game.

Wilson graduated from Barrington HS in 1987 and earned all-state honors three times as a goalie in hockey and twice as a pitcher and a catcher in baseball. He also quarterbacked the football team and attended the University of Minnesota, where he majored in mechanical engineering.

Wilson was co-captain and a first team All-America selection in 1990.

He lives in Seattle with his wife Annie and four children: Sofia, Josephine, Elijah and Abraham. Dan and Annie are members of the Board of Directors of First Place, a school for children who are homeless or in transition. They are also strong supporters of All God’s Children, an international adoption agency through which the Wilsons adopted two of their four children.
